I know that Christmas is in just a few days but believe me when I say it is not too late to craft for Christmas! And this is a great way to use up some of your scraps!! I used a piece of Cookie Exchange from the very merry Jolly Holly collection. This started out as a “To: From:” tag but I soon realized that I could make it a “To: From:” tag and still make it big enough to hang on the tree and hold a gift card!
I made a simple pocket and added a tag that would slide down into the pocket. I punched holes in both and ran the string through both so that the tag won’t fall out. I also added the little gingerbread people that I found on one of the tags from the Snippets and Clippets and a little bit of bling! Done in minutes!
I want to take this time to wish you all a wonderful holiday season. I hope that you will get to spend time with family and friends making lots of precious memories that will last a lifetime! May the true meaning of Christmas fill your hearts throughout the year! Until next time…
Happy Scrappin’!
Peggy
