Ta Da Technique #10

Today I’d like to cover something I have been hearing often…fussy cutting. It is a quilting term. To fussy cut is to target and cut a specific motif that’s printed on fabric. But in our case, rather than fabric we will be working on paper!

I used Ring Around the Posy’s Collection’s Posy Palette paper and punched out all the flowers in the paper. Then I die cut a bare tree, placed it on TaDa Signature Collection’s Blue Skies. I proceeded to place all those flowers and popped up many with foam tape to make a blossoming tree. It was a wonderful element to my page!

Next time you want to do something different, why not try this technique?!

Thanks for stopping by!
